AI chatbot for Telegram:
a model inside your scenario, not next to it
An AI chatbot for Telegram answers with text generated by a language model instead of a pre-drawn menu branch: the model reads the whole question and formulates the reply itself. In CHATBOSS.PRO you build one in a visual editor — add an AI block, write an instruction that says who the assistant is and how it answers, attach a knowledge base with your prices and FAQ, and pick the model. Five assistant types cover answering, routing the conversation, collecting data into a table, booking and calling an external API, and every request is billed from your account balance with the exact cost written to a log.
The AI block is a step of the conversation like any other: it reads what the customer wrote, answers from your materials, routes the dialogue or fills a table of leads. You choose the model per assistant — from a cheap nano one to the top of the current generation. From $9/mo.

Why a button-only bot stops being enough
A menu bot answers exactly what somebody drew in advance. A real question — «do you also do…», «will it fit my case» — falls outside the script, and the customer is left waiting for a human.
The question misses the menu
People phrase things their own way, while a button scenario offers only the branches it has. Every step sideways is a dead end and a ticket for support.
Your team retypes the same answer
Price, what is included, delivery time, address, refund terms — the answers already exist in your materials, yet a person keeps pasting them by hand all day.
A raw model answers about nobody
Without your data the model produces a plausible reply about an average company. To talk about your prices and your rules it needs an instruction and a knowledge base.
What an AI assistant can do inside the conversation
AI here is not a separate «mode» — it is a block that stands next to menus, forms and payments, receives the conversation data and passes its result to the next step.
A model per task and per budget
The current generation is GPT-5.6 (Luna, Terra, Sol), with GPT-5.2, GPT-5 Mini, GPT-5 Nano and the GPT-4.1 line alongside. The model is set on the assistant, so a short FAQ can run on a nano model while consulting runs on the top one — in the same bot.
Five assistant types
A general assistant replies with text, a logical one sends the conversation down the right branch by itself, a data assistant fills a table of leads, and two more handle bookings and calls to an external API.
Answers grounded in your materials
Besides the instruction, the assistant has a knowledge base — prices, services, FAQ, policies. The platform splits it into fragments and indexes them in advance, so each request carries the relevant piece instead of the whole handbook.
Conversation memory
The last messages of the session are attached to every request — anywhere from 2 to 100, 20 by default. The bot does not ask again for what the customer already said, and keeps the thread across scenario blocks.
Images and documents
Multimodal models accept JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP and PDF from the customer, and a separate generation block draws an image inside the conversation on paid plans.
Voice in both directions
A voice message is transcribed and handled like any other question, and the reply can be spoken back: text-to-speech is switched on for the assistant and the voice is picked from six options.
Every request has a price tag
Each model call is written to a log: model, input and output tokens, cost and the remaining balance. The bot metrics show what AI cost over a period, so a runaway prompt is visible the same day.
Where an AI bot pays for itself
The return comes from volume: many similar questions, answers that already exist in writing, and a team too small to repeat them.
Pre-sales consultant
Answers what is included, how long it takes and what it costs, picks a suitable option from your list and walks the customer to a form or a booking.
First line of support
Closes the routine tickets and passes everything outside its instruction to a human, with the conversation history attached.
Internal assistant
Answers your own team about processes, access rights and policies — no more searching through chats and shared folders for the current version.
Lead qualification
A data assistant runs the conversation, pulls out the fields you need and writes them into a table, so the manager receives a finished lead instead of a transcript.
How to build an AI bot for Telegram without programming
All you need is a bot token from @BotFather. No server, no API key of your own, no queue for an engineer.
Step 1
Connect the bot and open a template
Sign up, paste the token from @BotFather and start either from an empty canvas or from a ready scenario in the catalog.
Step 2
Put an AI block into the scenario
Place the block where the free-form conversation belongs and choose the assistant type: answer with text, route to a branch, or collect data into a table.
Step 3
Write the instruction and upload materials
The instruction sets the role, the tone and the boundaries; prices, services and FAQ go into the assistant knowledge base — that is what the answers are built from.
Step 4
Test, then publish
Run real customer phrasings through the built-in test chat, switch the model if quality or cost is off, and launch the bot for live traffic.
AI chatbot for Telegram — frequently asked questions
Do I need my own OpenAI key?
No. Requests go through the CHATBOSS.PRO infrastructure, and AI is paid from your account balance — no separate provider account, no separate invoice to reconcile.
Which models can the AI block use?
The current generation is GPT-5.6 (Luna, Terra, Sol), with GPT-5.2, GPT-5 Mini, GPT-5 Nano and the GPT-4.1 line still available. The model is chosen on each assistant, so different parts of one bot can run on different models.
Can the bot answer strictly from our own data?
Yes. The instruction tells it to answer only from company materials, and the materials go into the assistant knowledge base. This is not fine-tuning: the data stays on the platform side and is attached to the request as context.
What happens when the AI does not know the answer?
The scenario has an exit to a human: a logical assistant moves the conversation into the operator branch and the request reaches your team with the full history attached. That is more reliable than letting the model improvise.
How much does an AI bot cost?
The plan starts at $9/mo per account per month, and model requests are billed separately as they happen — the cost of every call is in the log and the total for a period is in the bot metrics.
How safe is this for customer data?
End-to-end encryption can be switched on for a bot: the key is issued to the owner once and stored only by them. The encryption scheme is described on a separate page of this site.
Does the bot understand voice messages?
Yes, in both directions. A voice message is transcribed and treated as a normal question, and the answer can be spoken back — text-to-speech is a setting on the assistant, with six voices to choose from, not a separate product.
How is this different from Manychat or Chatfuel with an AI add-on?
Those platforms are multi-channel and priced by contacts, with AI attached to the flow. Here the model is a block of the scenario with its own instruction, knowledge base and cost line, the price is per account rather than per contact, and the whole product is built around Telegram — including paid subscriptions billed in Telegram Stars.
