CHATBOSS.PRO
For sellers with an Alipay merchant account in mainland China

Telegram bot
with Alipay payments

CHATBOSS.PRO supports Alipay in Telegram bots through Alipay Face-to-Face Payment (当面付), connected with the seller's own Alipay keys. It is available to sellers who have an Alipay merchant account in mainland China with Face-to-Face Payment enabled; Alipay accepts individuals without a business licence, with lower limits. The buyer gets a link that opens Alipay and a QR code, pays in CNY, and the money goes straight to the seller's Alipay account. ChatBoss does not hold the funds. WeChat Pay is not supported.
Your bot issues an Alipay invoice in yuan: a button that opens Alipay and a QR code for paying from a second device. The money goes to your own Alipay account under your own agreement with Alipay — ChatBoss only creates the order with your keys and reads its status.

Why Alipay rarely reaches Telegram sellers

Buyers who live in Alipay expect to pay with it, while most bot builders offer only cards, Stars or crypto.

A QR code in a chat is not a checkout

Sending a personal receiving code means checking every payment by hand and matching it to an order from memory.

Website checkouts need a licence and an ICP website

Alipay's mobile-website payment requires a business licence and a website with ICP filing in the seller's name. A Telegram seller usually has neither.

Aggregators sit between you and the money

Third-party gateways receive the funds, keep a fee and settle later, and many work only with registered companies.

How Alipay works inside the bot

The bot uses your own Alipay app and keys. It creates the order, shows it to the buyer, checks the status and continues the scenario.

Your keys, your Alipay account

You paste the App ID, your app private key and the Alipay public key into the Payment block. The keys are encrypted at rest and checked against Alipay when you save them; a sandbox mode lets you test before going live.

Link and QR code in one message

The buyer gets the amount in yuan, a "Pay with Alipay" button and a QR code of the same order: tap on the phone, or scan from another device.

Confirmed by Alipay, not by a screenshot

Alipay sends a signed payment notification to ChatBoss, and when the buyer taps "I have paid" the bot asks Alipay for the order status. Only a paid order moves the scenario forward; "Cancel" closes the order at Alipay.

Works with the catalog

Price your catalog in CNY and connect it to the Alipay payment: the cart total becomes the invoice, and the order is marked paid with its items and buyer.

Who Alipay in a Telegram bot is for

The seller needs an Alipay merchant account in mainland China. Buyers can be anywhere Alipay works.

Individual sellers in China

Alipay opens Face-to-Face Payment to verified individuals without a business licence, with Alipay's own limits per payment and per day. A good start for small shops and services.

Individual businesses (个体工商户) and companies

With a business licence the individual-account limits do not apply. The bot setup is the same: one app, three keys.

Sellers to the Chinese diaspora and travellers

Buyers abroad who hold Alipay, including users with foreign cards linked to Alipay, pay a mainland seller in yuan as usual.

Sellers without a Chinese Alipay account

The direct route does not fit you. Take USDT on TRC-20 or TON instead — it reaches the same buyers without a merchant account.

How to connect Alipay to a Telegram bot

Enable Face-to-Face Payment, create an app on the Alipay Open Platform, paste three values into the Payment block and run a test payment.
Step 1

Enable 当面付 at b.alipay.com

In the product centre of your Alipay merchant account, activate Face-to-Face Payment. Without a business licence Alipay enables it with individual limits.
Step 2

Create an app on open.alipay.com

Create a web or mobile app, attach Face-to-Face Payment to it, set the signing method to public key mode with RSA2, upload your app public key and publish the app.
Step 3

Paste the keys into the Payment block

Choose the Alipay method and enter the App ID, your app private key and the Alipay public key. ChatBoss checks them with Alipay right away. You do not configure a notification URL — the bot sends it with every order.
Step 4

Test, then go live

Run an order in the Alipay sandbox, then one small real payment, and check that the money reached your Alipay account and the scenario continued.

Alipay in a Telegram bot: FAQ

Who can accept Alipay in a Telegram bot on ChatBoss?

A seller with an Alipay merchant account in mainland China and Face-to-Face Payment (当面付) enabled. Individuals without a business licence qualify with Alipay limits (at the time of writing about ¥1,000 per payment and ¥50,000 per day — check your Alipay console); individual businesses and companies do not have these limits. Sellers outside mainland China cannot connect Alipay directly.

Does ChatBoss support WeChat Pay?

No. WeChat Pay Native requires a merchant ID with a business licence, an AppID and a website with ICP filing, and its QR code can only be paid with the WeChat scanner — a buyer with a single phone cannot pay it from Telegram. ChatBoss does not offer WeChat Pay.

Where does the money go and what does it cost?

Straight to the seller's Alipay account under the seller's own agreement with Alipay. Alipay charges its usual rate; ChatBoss takes no percentage and only charges for the plan, from $9/mo.

How does a buyer pay from Telegram?

The bot sends one message with the amount in CNY, a "Pay with Alipay" button that opens an https://qr.alipay.com link, and a QR code of the same order for paying from another device. The order is valid for 60 minutes.

How does the bot know the payment went through?

Alipay sends a signed notification to ChatBoss, and the bot asks Alipay for the order status when the buyer taps "I have paid". A notification without a valid signature, or for a different amount, is rejected.

Can I sell digital goods for Alipay in Telegram?

Telegram requires digital goods and services sold inside Telegram to be paid in Telegram Stars. Third-party methods such as USDT and Alipay are meant for physical goods and real-world services: delivery, bookings, deposits, offline work. For e-books, courses or access links use the Stars method of the same Payment block.

Is there a limit on payments?

The daily number of payments depends on the ChatBoss plan and is the same for every payment method: 10 payments per day on Free, 100 payments per day on Start, unlimited payments on Pro. ChatBoss takes no percentage of your sales — you pay only for the plan, from $9/mo.

Take Alipay in your Telegram bot
