Accept crypto in a Telegram bot
without coding
CHATBOSS.PRO lets a Telegram bot accept three kinds of crypto without code: the TON coin, USDT on the TON network and USDT on Tron (TRC-20). Payments go straight from the buyer to the bot owner wallet — the platform is not a processor, never holds the funds and charges no fee on payments. TON and USDT on TON are matched by a unique memo and detected automatically usually within a minute; USDT TRC-20 is matched by a unique invoice amount after the buyer taps "I have paid". Bitcoin, Ethereum and other networks are not supported.
Add a Payment block to your bot, choose the coin and paste your wallet address. Buyers pay from their wallet or exchange, the bot verifies the transfer on-chain and continues the scenario. No crypto processor, no custody, no code.

What goes wrong with crypto payments in chats
A wallet address in a message looks like a payment method, but every transfer still has to be found and matched by a person.
Whose transfer is this?
Two buyers send 20 USDT within a minute. Without a memo or a unique amount there is no way to tell which order each transfer belongs to.
Processors take custody and a cut
Crypto gateways receive the money on their side, keep a fee and pay out later — and they usually require company verification first.
Wrong network, lost money
USDT exists on many networks. A buyer who sends ERC-20 to a Tron address, or forgets the memo on TON, creates a support case the seller has to untangle.
How the bot recognises a crypto payment
There is no intermediary: the bot reads public blockchain data about your own wallet and matches incoming transfers to invoices.
TON and USDT on TON — matched by memo
Each invoice has its own comment. The buyer opens a wallet link with the address, amount and memo filled in, or copies them into an exchange withdrawal. The bot polls your wallet every 20 seconds and accepts a transfer with the memo and at least the invoiced amount.
USDT on Tron (TRC-20) — matched by amount
TRC-20 transfers carry no memo, so every invoice gets a unique amount: 10 USDT becomes 10.000137. After paying, the buyer taps "I have paid"; the bot looks for a confirmed USDT transfer of exactly that amount to your address.
Invoices that expire honestly
A TON invoice is open for 30 minutes; after that the bot tells the buyer it expired and offers to issue a new one. A TRC-20 amount is reserved for 24 hours, because exchange withdrawals on Tron can take a while.
The scenario continues after payment
A confirmed payment is a transition on the canvas: a thank-you message, an order record, a notification to the owner, a question about delivery. The transaction hash is available to the following blocks.
Which coin and network to choose
All three options pay you directly; the choice depends on what your buyers hold and where they pay from.
USDT on Tron (TRC-20)
The most common way to hold USDT in Asia and on exchanges. Pick it when buyers withdraw from Binance, OKX or Bybit. Prices from 0.1 to 100,000 USDT.
USDT on TON
Good for buyers who already use a TON wallet such as Tonkeeper: one tap opens the wallet with everything filled in, and the payment is detected without a button.
TON coin
For an audience that holds Toncoin itself — Telegram communities, mini-app users, crypto channels. The price is set in TON, so its value in dollars moves with the market.
Not crypto at all
Buyers in mainland China pay by Alipay, digital goods in Telegram are paid in Stars. The same Payment block offers these methods too.
Alipay in a Telegram bot →How to start accepting crypto in your bot
You need a wallet and five minutes: add the block, choose the coin, paste the address, test with a small amount.
Step 1
Prepare a receiving address
A TON address (UQ… or EQ…) for TON and USDT on TON, or a Tron address (T…) for TRC-20. Ideally an address used only for bot payments.
Step 2
Add a Payment block and choose the coin
"TON" with the currency TON or USDT, or "USDT TRC-20". Set a fixed price or a variable such as the cart total.
Step 3
Describe success and failure
Connect what happens after a confirmed payment, and give "not found" or "expired" its own path, for example a handoff to an operator.
Step 4
Send yourself a test payment
Pay the smallest invoice from another wallet or an exchange and check that the bot confirmed it and moved on to the next message of the scenario.
Crypto payments in a Telegram bot: FAQ
Which cryptocurrencies can a Telegram bot accept on ChatBoss?
The TON coin, USDT on the TON network and USDT on Tron (TRC-20). Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana and other networks are not supported.
Is ChatBoss a crypto payment processor?
No. The buyer sends crypto directly to the bot owner wallet. ChatBoss only reads public blockchain data to recognise the transfer; it never holds, converts or pays out funds and takes no fee on payments.
Does the buyer need to press "I have paid"?
On TON and USDT on TON — no: the bot detects the transfer by itself usually within a minute while the invoice is open, and the button is only a manual re-check. On USDT TRC-20 — yes: the buyer taps "I have paid" and the bot checks the blockchain.
Who pays the network fee?
The sender, as with any blockchain transfer. If the buyer withdraws from an exchange, the exchange fee comes off the sent amount, so the buyer should add it on top: an underpaid TON or USDT-on-TON invoice is not accepted, and a TRC-20 invoice needs the exact amount.
What happens if the buyer pays late or forgets the memo?
An expired TON invoice is closed with an offer to issue a new one; a transfer without the right memo is not matched to any invoice, and the seller resolves it with the buyer directly. On TRC-20 a transfer outside the 24-hour window or with a different amount is not counted.
Can I sell digital goods for crypto in Telegram?
Telegram requires digital goods and services sold inside Telegram to be paid in Telegram Stars. Third-party methods such as USDT and Alipay are meant for physical goods and real-world services: delivery, bookings, deposits, offline work. For e-books, courses or access links use the Stars method of the same Payment block.
How much does it cost?
The daily number of payments depends on the ChatBoss plan and is the same for every payment method: 10 payments per day on Free, 100 payments per day on Start, unlimited payments on Pro. ChatBoss takes no percentage of your sales — you pay only for the plan, from $9/mo.
